I am receiving "new version" updates from Firefox maybe 3 or 4 times a month.
They do not tell us what is inside these updates. They use fear as a reason to just
download and install them.
My web hosting servicc webmail was frozen up and I was unable to delete files
out of my email accounts. What is Firefox doing inside my private web server?
They are just supposed to be a browser. They take liberties they are not entitled to.
After working with tech support from my hosting service, Firefox was mentioned.
Yesterday I went ahead and installed the latest update. So I went back and did
System Restore from a couple of days and, lo and behold, my emails were back to
normal.
I do not trust Firefox. What are they putting on my computer???
Microsoft stopped supporting Windows 7 a few years ago, and Mozilla shook
hands with that, Why don't they just leave my computer alone.
Please, I don't want anyone preaching to me about upgrading my OS.
That is a fallacy because they all have problems. I just stick with the
older versions so I can get my work done. The older programs are
more stable, and the older software still has a lot of features that have
been taken away as time goes by in the newer "better" ones.
Thanks for reading and listening and I will sign off now. Goodnight!
