I've been running Chrome for twelve years as 'end of support' has been scheduled for January 2023 with no further updates.
1.) Can I continue to use Chrome in Windows 7 without the updates being installed?
2.) If so, will there be any detriment in doing so?
Naturally, there are a few browsers that will support Windows, namely Mozilla Firefox. Should I switch browsers or continue with Chrome 'without' the updates? I do not like Windows 10 as I uninstalled within five minutes. Google stated that end of support would take place in 2022. However, Google continued with updates. There is absolutely nothing installed with windows 10, such as Movie maker. Sure, one can add on many applications, yet they are more than a task. All replies are welcome and appreciated.
