Reason Core Security is an anti-malware program from the developers of HerdProtect. This program is intended to be used alongside your existing anti-virus software and acts as a second layer of defense in the event that malware slips past your anti-virus program's real time protection.

 

Reason Core Security comes with a free full featured trial that includes real-time protection. After 30 days, it reverts to the free version, which can still scan for and remove malware, but no longer offers real-time protection.  Both versions of this program, though, include Bundle Protection that stops you from allowing unwanted software such as PUPs, adware, and hijackers to automatically install along with other software you download.
