Hello Everyone,

Recently I started having issues with the computer turning off randomly, not turning on when powered, and several dead memory channels. I went ahead and upgraded to a new MB, CPU, and upgraded my RAM. One of the biggest issues I have is that I did not build this computer myself. I had the computer tech at a previous job put it together for me. I called him and had him make the upgrades for me, as well as check the entire system for it's health.

Recently, I have been having issues with data storage and running out of data space.

Here are my current findings:

The 250 GB SSD has only 12 GB remaining, is running much slower than normal, and storage is defaulted to this drive which continues to fill it up.

The 500 GB, named "OS_Data" (465 GB usable, is that correct?) drive has around 180 GB free. However, it is starting to give me failure notifications, but it seems to run as intended.

The 750 GB "Mirror" drive is blank (698 GB available), nothing is being placed on it and there is no data being "mirrored" or backed up here. Only a couple things I have moved onto it.

When the computer was configured I was not there to ask questions or understand the process. There is a RAID setup that I know absolutely nothing about, and I want to make some changes.

First thing first, I want to make sure I have not come across any malware, trojans, etc... through any of the recent processes.

Then I would like some help in understanding what I can do to change the Data storage. I have recently started my own business in engineering and design work, I would like to be able to have the heavy resource usage programs on the SSD and the remainder on the D or E drive. I would like to remove any of the Intel backup programming and "mirroring" that isn't working anyway, as I have purchased an external desktop storage drive to backup personal data and the new business data.

Let me know what I can do and if I can answer any additional questions to help move this along.

Thank you very much in advance.

J
