Hi,

I build my PC but i'm running whith consistant hard freeze of my pc with no BSOD message and no dump file. I tried a clean reinstall of windows but the issue is still here, I checked all connection on my pc the only possible issue is I got 3 fan connected to a FAN HUB then the hub connected to a single CASE FAN connection from motherboard.

Before i got issue with C-STATE option that hard freeze my pc (same issue but way more frequent) like when i try to launch game in valorant my pc would freeze 90 percent of time but after disabling that the freeze are way more random but still have less hard freeze, i can do full session without any freeze or can do 15 minutes and have 2 freeze. I try clean reinstall without any game if valorant was the issue but my pc still have random freeze.

My pc will hard freeze with no BSOD and no dump file generated. All my driver are the last available : mother board driver from constructer yes, GPU driver from NVIDIA yes.

My PSU is gigabyte UD850GM.

Motherboard is H610M-H2/M.2 D5.

I already run RAM test but i will try again and see the result (same for nvme test)

Hi, Welcome to BC.

Please follow the Posting Instructions re Speccy : publish so that you get the URL to put into your post rather than attach a file.  Thanks.

It displays differently and much more cleaner with Topic Headings in Blue to read.

In BIOS turn off anything that Speeds Up the Boot : example ASUS Fast Boot

Turn off MS Fast Start : https://www.windowscentral.com/software-apps/windows-11/how-to-enable-or-disable-fast-startup-on-windows-11

Since is a New System do not take MS Update Drivers for next 4yrs unless no recourse to do so or to fix something.  Never ever Video Drivers.

This may also be what has happened, check Update History.

One problem is is that the Maximum Ram Speed of 4800MHz is installed : CMK16GX5M1B5200C40 the ram speed is actually 5200MHz and is throttled down to prevent damage to the chip. Regardless the Throttled speed is too fast as you will be overclocking if use XMP.  Max speed of ram to be compatible would be below 4800MHz so that can use XMP.

It Would be best if you go into BIOS and lock the speed to a lower number as well you have presented a possible voltage issue with not knowing what a example 4200MHz speed ram needs and are they different.

See Manual : https://www.asrock.com/MB/Intel/H610M-H2M.2%20D5/index.asp#BIOS on here somewhere.  As well check the compatibility page to see if Other Parts are listed or not listed that you have added to the system.

Note : You use Chip Spec Page to find out the Max compatible Ram Speed. So Ram to Chip not Ram to Motherboard and ridicules speeds that can be obtained if know what you are doing with out melting the chip (i have melted a i-7 4790K chip).

The other problem is is that you only have 1 Slot filled.  Systems like 2 slots filled and can present problems as well it is best to purchase Matched Pairs.

This maybe as to what you are experiencing.

As per your i-5 Spec Sheet : https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/134587/intel-core-i5-12400f-processor-18m-cache-up-to-4-40-ghz.html under Memory.

So the above is getting into things where they possibly start with the info.       Will get further .....

Lets hope ram is corrupted so can send back and maybe get a matched pair.

Start here : From a DOS Command Prompt from START | type cmd.exe into the start search box | RIGHT-click on cmd.exe | select "Run as Administrator" then Copy/Paste --> : DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth command then Enter

if it finds problems then reboot. (Completed Successfully : means reboot)

After : please Open another Admin Command Prompt and please run Copy/Paste --> SFC /SCANNOW into the Dos window or Powershell and Enter.  Reboot after.

Since have Win Pro :  Please check if you have the Components in the Answer on this page :

https://superuser.com/questions/1610189/what-is-the-cause-of-this-windows-event-error-cbspackageservicingfailure2   Note : Changes take effect after a reboot.

Note : this could and probably is a conflicting info with Language Settings and Language wanting to download as per previous post.  So making changes does seem appropriate.

Always remember what changes you did for possible reversing in future.

Download Minitoolbox from the below link :

Hi, thanks you for taking your time with me,

I ran memory test in normal mode and no issue was found, i will do complete one during my sleep but I don't think the memory is faulty since I only have 1 stick if it was I'm not even sure if i could POST.

About RAM speed, my motherboard is "compatible" with XMP profile but do not support XMP overclocking meaning it would only allow XMP profile that do not overclock the CPU default support.

I reduced speed to 4600 MHz and disabled option that do Timing and speed optimization as well as any Fast boot settings (bios and windows options).

I do all things above and SFC did find corrupted files.

I also find that on motherboard website my CPU is only tested for the first BIOS version 1.06 if nothings work I will try to return to this version instead of 3.01 version.

.

here is the speccy link http://speccy.piriform.com/results/S8lQOvaYDSXfIMGYZwlCRYf

and the minitool .txt

Hi, No do not go backwards with BIOS.   There is nothing wrong with Version : 3.01

1st release has issues that is  why there is 2 other releases and there will be more.  Always update Bios for Modern Motherboards.

Will reiterate that Systems run better with 2 sticks of matched pairs of Ram.

The Microsoft Sore is a Integral Part of Updating Windows 11.  Open the Store and go down the left side to Library, update only what you use.

Note : did not need to be logged in to Microsoft to use.

In Start-->Search --> type : Troubleshooter and open 1 that will fix Windows Defender issues.

Keep a eye on Task Manager for SCVHOST.exe and what is running in that.

Use Event Viewer to keep track of Issues that are Marked with Red :

https://www.windowscentral.com/software-apps/windows-11/how-to-get-started-with-event-viewer-on-windows-11

Specifically if there is continued issues this date and going forward for : Error: (04/22/2024 10:56:59 PM) (Source: Microsoft-Windows-User Profiles Service) (EventID: 1552) (User: AUTORITE NT)   Description: User hive is loaded by another process (Registry Lock) Process name: C:\Windows\System32\SecurityHealthService.exe, PID: 9020, ProfSvc PID: 1812.

- Active power scheme:  High performance === Change to Balanced.  High is a form of Overclocking.  Use only when need to then revert back.  Also generates heat.

GPU Tweak III === use is Overclocking.  If have issues always revert to Stock Profile.

Make sure Small Dump is turned on : https://www.thewindowsclub.com/automatic-memory-dump-settings-windows-8 /10/11  Note : No need to download anything, fyi only.

EDIT : @ time of running Speccy you had : Memory Usage: 40 %   Total Physical: 16 GB    Available Physical: 9.41 GB

Total Virtual:   19 GB   Available Virtual:  8.69 GB

Conclusion : Ram is a issue.  If continued issues buy a proper speed matched pair.  Have completed all asked for so wait and see.

The BSOD Kernel Expert will possibly look at the SysnativeCollection Report and see if any issues to be found guess early morning/mid morning your time.

My first observation, since this is a new build, is that your RAM (Corsair CMK16GX5M1B5200C40) is not on the memory QVL for your motherboard and Alder Lake CPU. That doesn't automatically mean it won't work properly, but it does mean that it's not been tested and verified with that motherboard/CPU combination. When you're having these kinds of issues on a new build, the RAM not being on the QVL is a big red flag.
