New build, definitely no more than 2 months old.

Probably a few weeks now I've had BSODs occur while using Steam (I think only RDR2 if the specific game matters), and because it was seemingly random didn't think much of it - until this past weekend it happened multiple times.

Also had instances of EA desktop becoming unresponsive while playing FC24 which I attributed to my controller for the longest time but was able to rule out the controller being the issue (it was happening with different controllers whether wired or not).  I think this is a lesser issue but wanted to mention it in case it could be related - the lack of BSOD makes me think it's a separate EA issue - I've since uninstalled and reinstalled EA but again with how random the issue was I have no way of knowing if it ihas .

I've uninstalled and then reinstalled my GPU driver - ran windows memory diagnostic (came back clean), ran sfc and dism and all were clean (or no problems found, however they report results).

Sysnative is attached; Speccy url is below.

Thanks.

Sysnative is not attached, it is a 3 step : https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/698076/attaching-files-to-posts-on-bleepingcomputer/#entry4791802

Please always supply your Proper ASUS Product name in your description.  Can not trust Speccy to name this so what is it a : ASUS TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI ??

If so you are running BIOS Version : 1402   Date : 9/8/2023    Current Version is : 1641   Released : 2024/02/29  Read Manual regarding CEP

If not updating to the above update to the prior version : 1630  which includes all previous updates that you have missed.  It is a normal thing to update Modern Bios's.from your Below Motherboard Support Page.

https://www.asus.com/ca-en/motherboards-components/motherboards/tuf-gaming/tuf-gaming-z790-plus-wifi/helpdesk_download?model2Name=TUF-GAMING-Z790-PLUS-WIFI

These Drivers can also be installed and updated through Armoury Crate-->Settings Icon (Gear)--> Update Tab.  There is no reason to have not done so.

Note will also need to Update the Intel Firmware listed below the Bios.

Note : you do not mention install of Windows : the 1st thing after installing Windows is to disconnect from the internet and install your previously downloaded Drivers starting with the Chipset and SATA Drivers and Intel and Video followed by the rest which you do with plenty of reboots.

Is the above how you installed your Motherboard Drivers ??

Note the proper way to fix Video Driver issues is not take Windows Update Drivers ever.

https://www.howtogeek.com/263851/how-to-prevent-windows-from-automatically-updating-specific-drivers/

It is also best to not take any Update drivers while you have Motherboard Support

https://www.windowscentral.com/how-disable-automatic-driver-updates-windows-10 /11

&

https://www.windowscentral.com/how-roll-back-device-driver-windows-10 /11

Note may have to reverse the above to get a install.

So fixing Video Driver issues : Download DDU : reinstall after by using drivers from here so know what your installing : https://www.techspot.com/drivers/manufacturer/amd/    At this time it is not known with out the report if this is needed.

In Bios Turn Off : ASUS Fast Boot for the same reasons as below :

Turn off MS Fast Start : https://www.windowscentral.com/how-disable-windows-10-fast-startup /11 and WHY !!!

Now I attached the file.  Thought I did before, sorry.

I originally updated all of the mobo drivers through armoury crate right after I booted into windows the first time, but I must have missed doing the BIOS (I realize it's a different process).

And, yes, it's a ASUS TUF GAMING Z790 PLUS WIFI.

Did you as well update the Firmware below that on that in your Support Page ?  As well as anything you may of missed ?

Note : the Microsoft Store is a Integral Part of Updating Windows 11.  Open the Store and go down the left side to Library and install all that you use.

Note : LightingService.exe by ASUS may cause errors.  Would be best to stop this and to test what is going on so do not tear your system apart when right in front of us bright and shinning.

NOTE : For info only : Do not Download anything : https://www.file.net/process/lightingservice.exe.html

REMOVE ORPHAN FILES IN C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local
You can use PowerShell. Right click the windows key > Powershell as Admin. Copy and paste the following line. After doing a copy of the below right click the mouse button to paste into powershell.  All the folders will end up in the recycle bin.
get-childitem -path C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local -Filter *.tmp* | Remove-Item

You have a lot of stuff running behind : svchost.exe  you can find out in Task Manager in Win11 as to what is using that now.

Will look at you Dump stuff but the BSOD Kernel Expert will be around late PDT.

CMK64GX5M2B5200C40 so your ram speed is 5200 and is being down graded to 4000 MHz so that it is supported with the use of XMP.

But your Intel i7-12700K Chip Supports Up to DDR5 4800 MT/s     Max # of Memory Channels  2   so is why your @ 4000 MHz

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/134594/intel-core-i712700k-processor-25m-cache-up-to-5-00-ghz/specifications.html

Note :

Off this page is Downloads : All Downloads on that page will be removed once chip is deemed obsolete.  So always keep a copy.

Which holds your On-Board Video Chip Drivers, Processor Diagnostic Tool, Extreme Tuning Utility, as well as Linux Video Drivers.

Always use your Motherboard Drivers unless have issues can use the above.

PLEASE Check your Motherboard QVL for the above memory support : CMK64GX5M2B5200C40

But in the mean time as this will be requested please run Memtest86 on a single stick of ram as per your Manual for the 4 x's max for free then again for 4x's followed by the next chip in line that would have been chip 2 in the 4.

Repeat with the rest as per order and number of times and report back please.  Note this will take awhile.

Note : this needs to be done regardless and need to keep a log or a screen shot incase the ram is corrupt as it will be needed for Cosair RMA.

From the dumps I agree with @Pkshadow above, this does look very much like RAM. Let us know how the RAM tests go.

Started Memtest this morning but had all four sticks in. Ill see what the results are then Ill actually do it one at a time like I was supposed to.

One question - the memtest instructions say that the slot doesnt matter, just that I pick one slot and call it slot 1 for each stick. Does it really not matter or should I only be using A2? My mobo manual shows the configurations for 1, 2, or 4 sticks and specifies A2 for the slot to use if only using one stick.

Doing it on one stick is just faster for you - unless the flaky stick is the last one of course! Do follow the motherboard instructions and use slot A2 for each stick.

I got the FAIL result of all 4 sticks at the same time - attached the text file but it wouldn't let me attach the html file.  I assume this is useless for determining which stick(s) is(are) bad, though, without going 1 at a time?  I'll probably start doing that tonight or tomorrow.

I realized running 4x32 is absolute overkill and was just going to go back to 2x32 (it's two different 2x32 kits which i've done before - mixing kits - but i know it can cause issues), but wouldn't know which of the two kits would be the failed ones.

Hi, you can zip it and see if it uploads which it should.

You can change the HTML to .txt if not a lot of code it can be read like a text file and open in Notepad.

Other is and 3rd option is put it in One Drive or a File share site.

Sounds good Ill try to do that when I get home later. Quick question on the memtest process. Am I trying to isolate one ram stick or one set of 2? It just hit me that Im probably headed down the path of trying to RMA whichever kit has the faulty stick, but didnt know if I necessarily care which of the 2 sticks in the kit it is.

Thanks for all the help so far.

Yes, trying to isolate 1.

That way can run 2 with no issues.

If bought as a Matched set of 4 you have to RMA all 4.

If set of 2 your RMA 2 in their original packing.............

If no original not sure what you are going to do.  Would have to look at the RMA info page.

I had to RMA some Corsair long ago but had original packing and had no problems.

They also will want the info from the Memtest reports for return as per RMA.

I have two separate 2x32 ram kits, which is what had me thinking if I ran memtest with one kit and it passed, repeated with the other kit and it failed, if that’s all I was trying to do. I agree RMA might get tricky in any event.

If have the packaging and the report then no problems.

Is best to run 1 stick at a time as is faster and also know with out work what happened.

Regardless 1 stick is faster than testing 2.    Can test the 2nd stick of the kit after the 1st one.
