hi.
When I go to a webpage that uses Javascript, example “Youtube” I get a message in top right Javascript was blocked on this page. I get a blank window. I checked site settings and it shows “sites can use Javascript”

Can anybody help me how to unblock Javascript when it shows unblock in my settings?
thanks

Are you using any script-blocking extensions?

Hi:

1) What OS? (You have posted in the Chrome OS section)

2) What browser or browsers?

Thank you

I am using Chrome Browser.

One morning I wake up Login, went to Youtube or Washington Post and get this message Java Script blocked. Some Pictures were blanked.

Can I reinstall Chrome?

Thank you.

Are you on a Windows PC (desktop, laptop or tablet) or are you on a Chromebook?
Reason for asking: you posted in the Chrome OS section.
I'm just trying to determine the most appropriate section for this topic to best help you.

Yes, you can reinstall Chrome

But, as @Porthos suggests, your problem might be caused by a script-blocking or ad-blocking extension

You might try some routine troubleshooting, as suggested here:

As always when posting a problem in one of the technical help sections it is a good idea to start with information about your computer - OS and make and model at a minimum. You posted in both Win 10 and here in Chrome OS.

Topic moved to Win 11.
