First and foremost, yes, I know Windows Server 2012 R2 is literally ending, but this is the best I have to work with until the next Board meeting. It's been a long time since I've done any SysAdmin work, but I was offered this job opportunity and would've been an idiot to turn it down. In the words of Richard Branson“If somebody offers you an amazing opportunity but you are not sure you can do it, say yes – then learn how to do it later!”

1. How do I check for Windows Updates for my host PCs from the Server?

2. How do I push these Windows Updates to my host PCs from the Server?

The service you're probably looking for is "Windows Server Update Services" or WSUS.  You can start reading about it here:

I would imagine that installing WSUS itself should be done during off-hours..?
