Does the forum have some way of searching for posts relating to a specific topic?  It would be most time-saving if one could view earlier posts for some guidance on assistance from forum members.

If such a tool is available, where is it located?

There is a "search" field in upper right corner (under your username when you are signed in).
There is a green button with a magnifying glass....

My experience with these sorts of things at many forums is that the forum search engine is not terrific, but it's worth a try.

You can also use your web browser's search feature:

For example, in the search field, type: "Thailand_PAL" site:bleepingcomputer.com
(Put the term you are searching in quotes, as shown in the example.)

I find Google to be a better way of finding reference materials to a given subject/topic.  Google reflects posts from all over, including specific BC posts which target said topic/area and the base is much broader than any one site can provide.

Hello, dear Friends!

BC's internal search tool works quite OK.  Unfortunately, when I tried to use it just now, the specific topic I had on my mind the day I posted my question had completely eluded me!  Like NADA!!!  I'll give it another try when the eluded topic pops back into my mind.

I found hamluis's post interesting, but using Google would require using two sites (Google & BC) to get the one task at hand done.

Will return to this topic once my foggy brain gets cleared up...

Hi. re post #5 like yes have to do 2 things to get the best results.      Just do your question in google and add bleepingcomputer.com/forums to the end.

I find this site search hopeless, in adequate to today's need for speed to the result.

You can just go to your profile.
