Quit messing with compact flash and buy a hard drive and your issues will go away.
If I use a CF it is because it is strongly recommended, for those who still use old PCs like me. CF greatly improves the speed of reading and writing.
Also, due to how the PC is assembled, to change the Disk I would have to remove the power supply. Only then can I change discs.

CF are never recommended at all due to their poor quality and high chance of failure. If CF was as great as you say they are then they woukd have been the primary drives in computers today. You really should be using a hard drive like a 7200rpm ide drive.
How fast can a 7200 rpm IDE hard drive read and write?
