Define better.

Choosing a distro is very much a matter of personal preference, and will be affected by a number of factors, including .....

Previous experience of User.
Type of hardware that disto is to be run on.
Type of activity that computer is to be used for.
Availability of software for the chosen distro.

.... to name just a few.

What I'm saying, is that just because someone else prefers a particular disro, that does not mean that it's "better", or even that it will be "better" for you, since your needs may well be entirely different to theirs.
