From the sounds of it, I wonder if your drive controller is defective.
Samsung drives are either in the EVO or QVO line. They can't be both. Which products is yours?
Have you manually checked for firmware updates to the drive? I find Magician sometimes doesn't report newer firmware version that exist.
Should we assume the drive is directly connected to a SATA port, or is it in some kind of external enclosure?
Do you have the latest chipset/SATA controller drivers for your motherboard installed? I don't recommend letting Windows update do that. It often installs more troublesome drivers than the ones you download and install yourself.
Have you tried swapping out the cable for a known good SATA data cable?
I would suggest calling Samsung support for this, to see if they can tell you anything.

Hi, sorry I have an Evo & a QVO & I keep saying both for some reason, but the drive is a QVO.
It is directed connected via sata cable.
And yeah all drivers are up to date, I have other SSDs that don't have any problem & this didn't happen until recently when windows did an update. Every time I uninstall the ssd & reboot, the problem is fixed then after a couple of days its back.
I don't think its a sata cable issue if fixing it is achieved by uninstalling the drive via device manager.
I will double check my board drivers, but I'm becoming extremely annoyed with windows update lately, because I have hardware that has manufacturer drivers, but windows seems to install Microsoft's own & causes them to stop working & I'm sick of it, apart from turning off windows updates completely, I'm not sure how to stop it.
But I will check my board drivers from the manufacturers site n see if it improves things.

Ya, not enough info re model info.
Have you looked for a firmware update in the program or on the website ?
You do not mention Motherboard or if you have installed all the Drivers from it's Support Page or from the Branded System Support Page for Dell/HP/Lenovo/Acer starting with the Chipset, SATA and so forth with mega reboots.
As well Dell I think has a order of install of the drivers.
As well check for a BIOS Update.

Drivers come from the maker not from Microsoft. That would be your problem. Not installing the proper drivers.

MS Drivers are for out of the box experience and update existing drivers for older systems.
A perfect clean install of Windows 10 / 11 is to install it. install for 10/11 https://pureinfotech.com/clean-install-windows-11/
Then Activate it From Settings-->System-->Activate
Disconnect from the Internet.
From saved Motherboard Drivers :(UNKNOWN SYSTEM/MOTHERBOARD Install Chipset then SATA Drivers and lots of reboots for all.
Turn off example : ASUS Fast Boot in BIOS for the same reasons as below :
Turn off MS Fast Start : https://www.windowscentral.com/how-disable-windows-10-fast-startup
Turn off MS Driver Updates as best can for Win Home : https://www.windowscentral.com/how-disable-automatic-driver-updates-windows-10 /11
If a Driver sneaks in : https://www.windowscentral.com/how-roll-back-device-driver-windows-10
Connect back to the internet.
Never take MS Update Video Drivers, ever.

I don't intentionally install drivers. I've checked my 870 QVO from Samsung's website & I have the latest firmware for my drive.
I don't want to disable windows update as there might be a fix for exploits & so on. And I'm not dumb enough to use Ms GPU drivers because they're just barebones at best.
I'm not a complete novice, just when I come across a problem I can't figure out myself, I ask on a forum like here for hints at what it could be.
I have the Gigabyte B450M DS3H V2 board & I did just do their bios update, but it made no mentions of anything sata, just stated it was fixing the following.
Checksum : C964
