Hello. A few years ago, HP introduced a line of entry-level, bare-bones laser printers. It's perfect for me, as I don't need speed or fancy features.

I bought what I think is the first model they offered, the P2500.

Here's the deal. I cannot seem to get the drivers to cooperate for this printer. On multiple Windows PCs, the printer produces pages with jibberish on them. I've downloaded the drivers directly from the HP site, still with the same problem.

I'm trying to avoid spending a lot of time on the phone with HP solving this problem. Has anyone had this same problem and found a quick fix?

I can post a picture of the jibberish page if this would be helpful. I've actually had this printer working on a couple of PCs, but new connections produce the same weird results.

Thanks in advance for your feedback and advice.

It seems like Pantum printers are no longer owned by HP.

Is this your printer?

What OS are you using? Windows 10?

John, hi, thanks for your response. Yes, that's the model I have. I'm using either W10 or 11. I can call their tech support if need be, but all of that activity takes time. This driver problem I've been dealing with on this printer has been going on for almost two years, spread across probably six different laptops.

BTW, the test page from the printer is fine. It's only when you connect it to a computer and install the drivers that it goes crazy.

Any thoughts?

Thank You.

You said you downloaded the driver from HP. The driver on Pantum's website is Version:V2.6.33. This is for the non-wireless model. You might want to uninstall the HP driver and reinstall the Pantum driver
