I got a computer with a Radeon RX 550.  It currently has one monitor and I am trying to connect a second.  First one is on HDMI and works fine.  When I hook up the second to the DVI or DisplayPort nothing happens.  The computer doesn't recognize it.  I tried detecting it through the 'Multiple Monitors" option in the Windows 10 settings but it doesnt detect it.  I tried updating the drivers and that isnt working.  I cant find anything in the Radeon settings that would apply.  I need some help.  Thanks.

Sorry but you have post on a tech forum asking for help but have provided zero information about your computer or most of it`s hardware, this makes it impossible for anyone to even hazard a guess as to what is going on.

Is the computer a custom build or brand name such as Dell or HP, if a brand name, provide the model name or series number (not serial) if a custom build post the brand and model name or number for the CPU, MB, the RAM ( including the amount and speed ) and the PSU (power supply unit) providing these details will enable folk to better help you.

PSU guidance - 10 stripe - Johnny Lucky - PC Mech - PSU Review Database PSU Lemon List Which power supply do you need?

If all else fails perhaps an HDMI splitter would work?  Both monitors would most likely need to have the same resolution.  The same signal would be sent to both.

Download and install Speccy - https://www.ccleaner.com/speccy

Run it, and then go to File and Publish Snapshot. Post the resulting link in your next reply

Does a monitor connected to the DVI or DisplayPort work at all when the HDMI output is NOT connected?
