I bought new memory from dell for my optiplex 7010. I up it to 16gb. it had 8gb in it when i got it and bought two sticks of new memory. Got new memory because it kept shuting off for no reason and i got a orange flashing power button. So i look it up and what i learned off of my search was a orange flashing power button mean a bad memory. So i bought two new 8gb sticks. After putting them in my computer ran faster and good. Well a week went by and 8pm at night while i was watching twitch it shut off by itself and the power button started flashing orange. I can move them to other spot and it will work good for a week or so then shut off then start to flash orange. I used the old memory from it in another computer and they work fine. All i used the optiplex for was to run my 3d printer and if i not doing that is to watch twicth or you tube. I got this computer at my local good will store for $9.00. They test them before they sell them. I only upgraded the memory and cpu. The cpu was on a list i found online of ones that will work in it. I went from 2.93ghz to 3.30ghz with the cpu. But i don't know if this it a thing that happens to these old optiplex 7010. Thanks for the help i get.
