Hi,
Disclaimer: I'm not familiar with the specific data protection software you're using.
The fact that your encrypted data resides on working media is excellent news.
There seems to be a basic guide located at: https://www.ilike-share.com/guide/free-folder-password-lock.html
Before your SSD died, the protection software may have been "remembering" some of your most recently accessed encrypted files so that you could quickly locate them in the future?
Now that you've reinstalled both Windows and the protection software, you may need to explicitly locate the encrypted file(s) from your external drive (likely by clicking the green "Open Decryption" button [shown in the guide]) and then select the file on your external drive (typically located under the "Computer" node in the directory tree)
If needed, you may also want to try contacting the developer again, perhaps using a different email address.
(Be certain to check your spam/junk mail folders as these sometimes erroneously catch legitimate correspondence)
I suspect the above will resolve your issue; If not, there are still other options, but they're more complicated/costly.
Disclaimer: I have never used the particular protection software you're using.
