I have dealt with this person for a while now, and the police advised me to change my phone number, which I did, because this person has been spamming my phone, random calls, texts, harassment, and bullying, etc.

So I changed it, and about a week later, it began again. This should not be possible at all, can someone explain?

I only shared this new number with family members, and switched out from online accounts registration. I made sure to check every single accounts by the way for signs of breach of security, nothing at all, same IP address (mine), and same devices (mine). So how did this person find my new number?

I suspected maybe my PC is infected with a RAT of some sort, so I decided to install linux, and do my private stuff and changing phone number on the system, so whatever infection windows pc had, the person won't see my new number when I change it on accounts. I don't think this worked or helped.

As well check your stuff here : https://haveibeenpwned.com/

Download and run : https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/ on your PC.

AdwCleaner is only for Windows...not Linux...

Yes it is.  OP has had Windows, says Linux did not work out so no idea as to what is running now.  Or on another system. Covering that for just in case.

Would soon know it is not for Linux.

Page does need updating to include Windows 11.

That thought crossed my mind too.  A family member is the weak link and gave your phone away.  Perhaps a family member is doing this to you.

No. Copy the Key from the log and paste it into a reply.  As well as any other info MBAM has in the log.  Do not copy everything. Just what is worth noticing.

As well please do not use the Quote All box.  It is left over from years ago, backspace it out of the way. If need to Quote use the Tool in the Toolbar. Or " "

Did you complete the last step where it wants to Run a Basic Repair  ??  If you did please re-run it again and do not skip that as it will rest your Winsock/Network stuff.

HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\\Classes\CLSID\{8BF0126F-A5B7-4720-ABB2-2414A0AF5474}         probably CCleaner or a cleaner.

Nothing else.  You copied everything.          Since is a PUP not a big deal.

I have an idea.

"I only shared this new number with family members"

Contacts are updated and shared online between users automatically. The fact that it took a week suggests that when OP called certain someone, he updated OP's number and it got neatly updated in the spammer's database as well.
