Found this website through I think either a Facebook or tiktok advert. www.kidyplanet.com. I ran it through scamadvisor.com and it gave it a trust score of 49/100. It lists the negative highlights as:

The website's owner is hiding his identity on WHOIS using a paid service

This website does not have many visitors

Several spammers and scammers use the same registrar

An internal review system has been identified
This website has only been registered recently.

Positive it says it allows payment methods to get your money back and has a valid ssl certificate.

I also found somewhere else that the website was created in dec 2023. There are customer reviews on the website dating back before this which seems odd. Although maybe they have other sites. Don't know if it's worth chancing it as it is a good price

Hi, it is not unusual for that for Whois. I did it all the time for privacy and spam.

Suggest just google the site.  It get;s various ratings of 1% trust.

So with a trust score you have of 49/100 why would you go............

True but seems the negative reasons is due to whois and it being a recent website. Wondering if I should just pay by credit card and if I don't get the item I ask for a chargeback through the bank which is a legal obligation. Is there a risk of getting my details stolen?

Nothing is 100% guaranteed

But FWIW here is VT analysis

Having said that, based on what you report: Steer clear

There are many site rating vendors -  McAfee WebAdvisor (formerly SiteAdvisor), WOT (Web of Trust), Google's Safe Browsing, Google's Safe Browsing, Avira Scout browser, Avira Scout browser, avast! Online Security Plugin (formerly WebRep), Norton Safe Web, Symantec WS.Reputation.1, Webutation - which can be used to check trustworthiness. Such vendors typically use a system of volunteer testers that continually patrol the Internet searching for risky sites, download files, identify malicious web links/content and then submit that information to a central database. The results are documented and supplemented with feedback from users, Web site owners, some automated analysis and analysis from their own employees. The advising site vendor then summarizes the results sometimes into a color-coded red, yellow and green ratings scale to help inform Web users as to the safety of each tested site.

While these tools are useful, they are not foolproof and sometimes may provide misleading ratings. Just because you visit a risky site, that does not automatically mean the site is bad or that your system has been infected by going there. In contrast, going to a safe site could even prompt a warning. There are legitimate programs available on web sites which are falsely detected by various anti-virus programs from time to time. This sometimes results in an inaccurate site rating/warning of potentially dangerous software when that is not the case. The use of rating sites does not always guarantee an accurate rating of the results they provide and can provide a false sense of security especially for the novice user.

Even Bleeping Computer has been incorrectly rated before....see this discussion topic.

One of the signs that is used to identify a potential scam site is the domain creation/renewal dates.  Don't shop at a site that is fairly new.  I'd stay clear of this site until it's clear that it isn't a scam.

If you use CC and then they have a card number, you'll want to replace the card.  Some people report having problems with recurrent charges despite having replaced the card.

If you think the price is worth a try despite big signs of scam, then the prices are most likely too good to be true.

Suggest find another place that sells what you want.

Right Click and save the image of it.

Do a Tineye reverse image search as well a google reverse and find other places, or find the maker of the toy and who it distributes to.

Do not risk yourself or your system.     You risk them applying for other cards and credit.
