Folks,
I decided to finally bite the bullet and switch from the no longer supported Windows Live Mail 2012 (WLM) email program to the newer, and currently supported, Mozilla Thunderbird email program on my Windows 10 PC.
Spent a goodly chunk of time today getting Thunderbird installed and tweaked on my home PC, including importing all of the contact info from my Windows Live Mail address book.
Have set up four email accounts (two ISP and two Gmail), and Thunderbird is now working pretty well. I really like the unified inbox feature.
I was also able to make a backup copy of my previous email folders and files from Windows Live Mail.
However, even after installing the addon called "ImportExportTools NG" to Thunderbird, I have not been able to figure out how to import any of my WLM backupped email messages into Thunderbird.
Therefore, I am now seeking your help and advice on how to import my old WLM emails, so I won't have to keep using WLM in order to access messages dated older than today.
Thanks.
