Why ask here under Windows 11 system and not ask in the Web Browser forum board?
EDIT: Good, you got the thread moved to the right forum board. TY.

Press Not Now. Do not delete the cookie for that. Do not use Chrome.
I rarely ever so that and it is the price you pay for being anonymous.

This happens regardless if any Browser. Many sites use geolocation tools to provide better results. So if you type in burgerking.com and go to location you won't get flooded with all burger kings in the United States but get any within proximity of a close drive. This has been the defacto behavior because of smartphone use.

Happens to me so I blocked the 'pop-up' using CSS in the browser on a Windows 11.
Despite that, Google search still knows my location, probably using a JavaScript or tracing the location by IP.
Probably Google is attempting to be politically correct and asks first despite knowing my location anyways.

To reiterate, this is mentioned only in the interest of reducing confusion, in the event that different or conflicting advice might be offered by helpers at different sites (& to reduce duplicated effort by volunteer helpers).

You haven't mentioned your browser, did you? In Firefox's config, you can deny LOCATION REQUESTS from websites (plus a bunch of other stuff). Check it out!
