I purchased an Ethernet adapter for my OLED tv. I have it plugged into the USB 3.0 port on the back of the TV and Ethernet cable plugged into the adapter. Will not connect, but if I plug the Ethernet cable directly into the ethernet port on the TV it connects. This is a brand new adapter and it was working the other day. Any ideas on what the issue is??!!

That is because the softwre in the tv does not recognize those adapters. Streaming on the tv does not exceed 7mbps so why try to reinvent the wheel.
