TV:  LG47LH90

Roku: Express 4K+

Phone:  Samsung Galaxy S10+

I have an older LG TV hooked up to a Roku via HDMI.  I mainly use the Roku to cast movie and sports video from files on my phone (not streaming).  This works fine for movies and TV shows at 30fps, but at 60fps the sporting events are jittery.  The HDMI connection for this TV is configured to support HDMI 1.4 (HDCP 1.4  1080p).  From what I read, I might be able to adjust the HDMI settings for this TV to HDMI 2.0 to accommodate 60fps.  I read through the LG TV owners manual and browsed through some TV settings, but am not sure yet if I can change the HDMI settings.

Can someone tell me if this is possible with this TV, or if there is another work-around?

Thanks in advance -

Edit:  I can play 60fps directly from a thumb drive to the USB port on this TV.  Also, I can play 60fps from a laptop connected via HDMI to the same HDMI port that the Roku connects to also...

Update:

I can watch 60fps video from a laptop when connected directly to the TV via an HDMI cable (I even tried the same HDMI port that the Roku is using).

But I still cannot get 60fps via the phone casting to the Roku connected to the TV via the same HDMI port....
