I have Office 365. I was reading email today in Outlook when a pop-up asked me how I liked it. I tried to get out of the pop-up, but must have clicked the wrong button. Now it appers that I have New Outlook. I hate it. My Favorites are all gone and I cannot access an email address I use through GoDaddy.

What do I have to do to get rid of this junk and go back to Old Outlook?

Hi:

I don't use Office 365/MS 365.
And - thankfully - I'm no longer forced to use Outlook.
Moreover, MS has been making frequent changes to its email clients - how they are named, how they work, etc. It's been a hot mess for years.

So, these are offered "as is" - YMMV:

That second link did it. Thanks

I am really starting to hate Microcrap. My partner recently switched over to a Mac. Now all of her devices are Apple and they all work together.

We're getting our knickers in a twist about Outlook, again.

There are two Outlooks.

Outlook.com & Outlook as part of MS Office (Currently known as 365).

If they start merging the two, I'm out.

Without the "Contacts" in Office's version of Outlook. I have no reason to keep buying Office, regardless what their R&D Department insists on re-naming it as.

For what it's worth dept.:

I am still on Outlook 2007 and it's working great for me.

That, coupled with Mailwasher (free edition), guarantees no malware/virus infections through email.

I am sure MoneySoft will figure out a way to force me off of it eventually, but I will leave kicking and screaming.

Initially, I toggled back to Classic Outlook without any problems - from the "New Outlook" as I wasn't receiving any email notifications in Action Center.  When I opted out, Microsoft asked me why.

I chose to let Microsoft collect data for diagnostics/repair and provided my email for any further advice, if needed, which the latter wasn't even required.

Since doing that, I've had no issues whatsoever.

I don't wish to choose another email provider in 2024 as that is what my employer requires, so I opted for the data diagnostic exchange instead which was resolved the very same day.

I'm happy to date.

@MoxieMomma looks like you tackled this topic before on New Outlook.
