Hi,  PC running Win 11 Home 22H2, OS build 22621.2428. Outlook v1808 Office 2019. Randomly the error comes up when I browse Outlook: "Cannot display the folder. There is not enough free memory to run this program. Quit one or more programs and then try again."

I don't have much running - Teams, Slack, 5-6 tabs on Edge. Closing that stuff does work but it really shouldn't cause this kind of problem. Task Manager says I'm at 50% memory and 1% disk with that stuff open, which sounds reasonable. Admittedly the Outlook app itself is connected to multiple inboxes. But I was running this exact setup on another computer and never ran into this problem. In fact I have installed this same Outlook version on 40 other machines and no one else has ever had this problem.

I have tried reinstalling and updating Outlook.

Any suggestions as to what's going on behind the scenes and how I can get this resolved for good?

Plenty of other people have reported similar problems in multiple versions of Outlook.

Have you done updates to make sure your Office install has the latest updates/patches?

I've seen it on other forums as well. Have you tried the recommended solution of starting Outlook in safe mode to see if that helps (by not loading any plugins)?

Have you added a plugin lately around the same time the problem started?

I can't remember if Outlook still uses mailbox (the old .pst) files. If so, how large is your file?

If the problems is intrinsic

Are there any updates to this case?
