Macrium Reflect: Easy to use, can recover an image to a new hard drive, free to use.

CCleaner. Usually safe to remove what it finds.

Hard disk Sentinel: Monitor hard drives in real time, will warn you if your drive is about to fail, standard & premium versions.

Driver Easy: Free & paid version, has never given me a bad driver (unlike DriverBooster), free version you need to download & install the driver manually, no multiple downloads, paid version has full automation for download & install.

Virginia.

+1 for Macrium Reflect and CCleaner

To add on to the list:

Revo Uninstaller: Clean removal of any program from your PC. Uninstalls programs and additionally removes any files and Windows registry entries left behind by the program's uninstaller or by the Windows uninstall function.

VLC Media Player: Free and open source cross-platform multimedia player and framework that plays most multimedia files, and various streaming protocols.

It changes a lot, but for Windows usage this may be it:

- Agent Ransack : search file content, but in a way that actually works, compared with Windows search

- Locate : search for file metadata (name, age, etc. - NOT content) - similar to Everything - also here; doing what Windows can't, even with indexing enabled

- ClipX : clipboard memory tool - basically replaced by some program (in Windows 10 at least), but I prefer this one - it keeps a list of text, screenshots & files you have CTRL-C'ed

Unchecky: Since I started running this, I have not had a single PUP downloaded, and I also use CCleaner, so it's obviously doing its job
