Hi forum, today I just discovered AI art and I've been making lots of pictures using keywords. I want to post them in another Instagram account and other places too maybe, but I am scared that people will steal my pictures and use them as theirs or even sell them.

I want to know if you can tell me all the ways there are to prevent that from happening, and which one is the best?

I would also know if I can use my art from different sites to use them as NFTs and how it works?

Also if there is any way of increasing the size of your images without damaging the quality of the image, and if there are any other ways of improving the quality of your pictures, before or/and after it has been resized.

HI, not enough info.  You do not mention what your creating your art with and what the format is and how many colours as well as what the extension of the picture is.

Rule of thumb make images bigger than you want them as is easier to reduce than to go up.   If displaying them on instagram then want the worst quality and smallest size as no one wants crap.

If is NFT then there is nothing to worry about. https://www.theverge.com/22310188/nft-explainer-what-is-blockchain-crypto-art-faq

Well i have many pictures which are 512x768 from site deepai.org, google says Pixels and Size are different, but the picture says that the size and the pixels are the same. So I'm confused.

Others are 512x512 and others are 1024x1024.

What do these numbers say about the quality? Is size proportional to quality? (if that makes sense). What is the maximum/best quality image that can ever be done digitally? And is there any way to do that to low-quality images?

I'm just an enthusiast who is learning about Digital Marketing, and I just started showing interest in AI art. I don't know how to Edit although I have edited a couple of pictures already before.

By the way I do try to make the pictures as big as possible, but the AI does not think like me, some AI software will put extra or unnecessary art to the extra space and it will not look realistic or natural at all, this is why it doesn't work for all AI sites or apps. I mean I tested it before. And I got a weird drawing.

Also I don't always have a choice, sometimes I have to pay to increase the size of the picture, other times I don't really have an option.

I think overall most of my pictures are of medium or average quality, if that makes sense, according to what I feel when I look at it. I am no expert so I don't know what's considered good, bad, average or excellent. I'm just starting to learn....

I remember faintly something about a hidden tag on a graphic that could be tracked, but that's all. I suggest you web-search using those words.

Copyright law in the United States says that any work created is copyright by the creator as soon as it has been created. This can be enhanced by including on the work created the copyright symbol, a date and name of the creator. Some say it is good to make a copy of the work and mail it to yourself but do not open it. The postmark is considered evidence of when the work was created and by who. Enforcement is the responsibility of the creator. So, if someone copies your work and profits from it, you can force them to stop profiting from your work and to pay you damages. Doing this will typically require hiring a lawyer.

Pixel size of a rendered image cannot be increased without loss of quality. Programs such as Photoshop can increase the size of an image through interpolation, or averaging, between pixels but, this will decrease quality.

Higher pixel density will allow an image to be reproduced at larger sizes. Photographs printed in magazines are typically supplied to the printer at 300 dpi. They can be supplied at higher resolutions if that is what the printer wants. Printing is different from viewing on screen.

So, I have a 17" monitor, a 21" monitor and 50" TV all calibrated to display at 1920 X 1080. The devices are all taking he same data and spreading it out over different sizes and they all look good. Upon close inspection, the smaller monitor has the sharpest image while the TV is less sharp but, because it is being viewed from, say 8 feet away, it still looks good. Higher resolution devices, 4k and 8k, are now available and will require higher resolution sources.

@henryanthony

Thanks for the information, but I created these AI arts like from 2 days ago, the only proof that I have is my own info that is saved automatically on my computer (details like what time it was created, date etc.). Will that work? I mean I could screenshot it or video record it...

I mean if I save it to my email address, won't it change the date and time of the originally created pictures?

So when it comes to Size looking at a screen, the smaller the screen the higher the quality of the picture from a sight perspective (looks better to the eye when looking at it on a smaller computer).

Can a picture be of a smaller size and be of a higher quality compared to a larger picture?

I have heard from an experienced Digital Marketer that when you share videos to whatsapp it decreases the quality of the video, but that there is an option on whatsapp to make all the videos of the best quality possible. Does it mean I get to choose to view it or download it to its maximum/original quality? Or another average quality determined/chosen by Whatsapp?

Does this happen to pictures too?

I have sent a few pictures of a poodle to a friend who owns a couple, can I use these same pictures as NFTs or will it not work? I mean is it possible for a picture who has more than 1 person who has them be used as NFTs? Is it illigal or banned?

Do the NFT sites scan for every picture to see if there are copies on the internet or do they change the Ownership to someone else once it is sold or once someone buys its Author rights or whatever?

I am not an expert on copyright law and don't have an answer. Anything I know about it and much more can be found here: https://www.copyright.gov/

So when it comes to Size looking at a screen, the smaller the screen the higher the quality of the picture from a sight perspective (looks better to the eye when looking at it on a smaller computer). Can a picture be of a smaller size and be of a higher quality compared to a larger picture?

Yes. This is all explained at this link: https://metova.com/pixels-resolution-aspect-ratio-what-does-it-all-mean/

I have read that cloud storage providers often downsample or otherwise apply destructive size reductions techniques to images. I guess this varies from provider to provider. I produce digital images and would never store them in the cloud unless I was assured no changes would be made. This would probably require a for fee service. For now, I save and back up on my own hardware.

I have sent a few pictures of a poodle to a friend who owns a couple, can I use these same pictures as NFTs or will it not work? I mean is it possible for a picture who has more than 1 person who has them be used as NFTs? Is it illigal or banned?

Sorry, I can't help with these questions. NFTs is an area I have very little knowledge of. I am a creator of digital images and I need to learn more about this.

As a matter of interest. What makes you think that someone might want to steal them?

NFTs, in themselves, have no value except that they might be associated with something that has value.

Can you not google some of these questions your asking.??

I could google some of them, and do use google all the time, but sometimes google gives you many different answers so it can be confusing. Hope I didn't trigger anyone, I mean I thought this was a forum to get help and people are supposed to be understanding and helpful. Especially with beginners.

Besides, it's quicker to ask someone who knows something for help in a forum than spend hours or days on google looking for answers. Know what I mean?

Also, I'm not forcing anyone to reply or answer my questions.

@fegsdc - No worries man. Graphics is my specialty. Happy to help when I can. Also payback for all the help I get here with systems and hardware - not my wheel house for sure.

Hi, sorry felt that way.  Yes can get help.  On most of your topic there are fairly good results using Google and why suggested such as there was too many URL's turning up that were useful.
