I recently bought a set of 8 Wyse 5030 Zero Client (VMWare) / P25 thin clients. I don't have a server to hook them up to but I can't change any of the configurations in the initial start up screen. It's password protected and I don't have the password. I would like to do a factory reset on the device but can't get into the bios or do a reset from the system that comes up (do to not knowing the password). I have looked for the user manuals and have found very vague ones from Dell that don't deal with how to remedy the problem. Any help is really appreciated.

Thank you

Christopher

Suggest you contact Dell support via phone/email.

Doing a quick google I found this. I don't know if this will clear the password. You may need to contact Dell as Louis posted.

thank you, I have tried those but the options are password protected. I don't know if it's a bios or OS that I end up in but it's where you setup the client to connect to the vm server.
