I am returning my first tablet - an Amazon Fire. I have no previous experience w/ tablets or cellphones. It was $87 on QVC. At this time I don't think the problem I'm having using touch vs mouse is due to a learning curve - I think the tablet's responsiveness is uneven. Also its help app is woefully unhelpful.

I use a tablet for research and accessing websites my old computer won't. I watch news/instructional videos and read stuff - not into movies or games. I had a Lenovo tablet computer and I loved its ability to write notes on and how well it translated my handwriting into digital print but I doubt I'll be able to afford a lenovo tablet that has that feature. If any of them do. I do need a note taking app where I can copy and paste from the web and type. I'll want to be able to print and transfer to a computer or the cloud - need a USB port.

I tried researching chrome tablets as recommended by a friend but I don't really know what I'm looking for and there seems to be a scarcity of specifications and what it does info. Just claims on good sound or a great pic.

My budget is limited or I'd be buying a new computer and not a tablet. If there is a lenovo tablet w/ a good handwriting to digital print app I'd be willing to pay a little more.

Any suggestions appreciated.

If you have budget of ~$300-$400, you can get some good tablets with a Pen for handwriting. Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is a great option that also comes with a S Pen. With S Pen, you can write, draw, mark on the tablet screen. Other than that, Lenovo P11 Plus is a great option that also comes with a Pen. Only Lenovo and Samsung can give you good tablet with a Pen in limited budget. Consider Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 lite which is a 10 inch screen tablet with a S Pen.

Hope that helps.
