I purchased a new iPhone 15 Pro Max iPhone a couple of weeks ago and loved it! However, over the past couple of days, it stopped saving new photos or allowing me to edit any of the old ones on it. Over those 2 days, I have spent about 3 hours, in 2 sessions, with "senior advisers" in Apple support. What worked at the end of Thursday was backing up and restoring my phone.
However, the same issue returned yesterday afternoon and I didn't realize it until I was trying to save several photos from a text to edit them. I could view them but was not able to save them as images or to a file. The only thing I had done, with my phone attached to my PC, was open AnyTrans ( an iPhone transfer app) to see how many photos I had on the new phone and see if I wanted to transfer any of them to my PC.
In yesterday's phone session with Apple, we did a few diagnosing and troubleshooting steps with the same results. The senior advisor said she would turn the issue over to the engineering group and would contact me next Tuesday with what engineering has come up with. If it weren't for me being the dedicated photographer for tomorrow's traditional annual Christmas Eve gathering of family and friends that would be fine, but I really should continue trying to resolve the issue before this blessed event.
My question to those of you who may have experienced a similar issue with your iPhone or have any suggestions of what I may try, what can I do at this point? Would it make sense to do another backup of my phone, but do a restore from the one that did seem to work 2 days ago?
Thank you in advance for your help!
