Hi, my Mobile phone is a samsung Galaxy s23. I'm looking to store some files on my device, and I'm thinking is secure folder OK to use, or would you recommend something better like Dropbox.

Perhaps I'm missing something:  local storage on your device is just that, while Dropbox and similar services are CLOUD storage applications (NOT local storage)? :scratchhead:

Apologies if I misunderstand what you're trying to accomplish.

FWIW both approaches (local and cloud) have both advantages and disadvantages. Neither is 100% safe and secure under all possible conditions.

Hi, other options include Winrar and password protect a zip or rar file.  As to how get the file to your system would determine if this was viable.

As well there is Proton Mail which uses encryption and password to open the email/attachments.

These would be more secure but as always is not perfect. though encryption would be above just straight out files format.  As always do not loose the password and file encryption does not stop corruption.
