Help Topic: Common solutions to registration problems
If you are having problems registering an account you should follow these steps in order to resolve them:
- If you are being told that your email address is already being used, this may in fact be an incorrect message. Instead try changing both your display name and login name to another choice and try registering again.
- It is possible you are already registered and have not validated your account as of yet. Please read this help file about how to validate your account. You will know if you need to validate your account by clicking on this link. If you are not validated, you will see a resend validating link in your menu bar at the top of the forums screen.
- Is it possible that you actually did register an account using your email address in the past and have forgot? If so, you may want to try and recover the username and password at this page.
