So where did you get the idea you should change the timings to 40.   Do what you wish when we are not helping you.  Set the Timings to stock 30.

Thanks for the images, you're not missing any drivers for the devices you have. I'll step back, but keep monitoring, because @Pkshadow has you well covered.

Hi guys,

I had the idea when ubuysa mentioned possible RAM issue, just tried to ease the timing if can help, had set it back up to 30.

Anyway I had done additional memtest86 today and still had no errors. Got the time to run Starfield and Cyberpunk as well which no longer resulted to pc crash or bsod, instead it just closes these games without any warning or pop-up errors. Tried total war as well and the same, maybe fine for few minutes but just closes suddenly. Any ideas? Should I just try to reinstall windows?

Can you navigate to the folder C:\Windows\LiveKernelReports and check in there and ALL sub-folders for dump files (.dmp) and upload any that you find.

This folder is where Windows write dumps for problems from which it was able to recover. Those 'closing suddenly' issues might be crashes to the desktop caused by Windows recovering from a problem. The dumps will tell.

Hello guys,

Soo I just got BSOD again after 10 mins playing starfield.

But I think I found the issue and possible solution when I came across this post https://www.reddit.com/r/intel/comments/16vp5kn/i913900k_instability_crashes_and_svid_behavior/.

Seems like the issue is not on the RAM nor the GPU, but the Processor. In particular, it seems to be affecting intel i9-13900 and i9-14900. The solution mentioned by intel is to change the SVID in the Bios to "Intel Fail Safe". Had played for an hour straight and no crash anymore!

However it is to be noted that changing the SVID increases the voltage on the processor, though intel mentioned it is their recommended voltage and what the mobo is doing was undervolting, it does still increases the heat and possible shorten the lifespan of the proc. Some recommended to try to RMA, but in my case I'm living in Taiwan with very little Chinese, making it hard to return this to the shop.

I hope this can help if others have similar issue.

Thanks guys
