Hi, @Marioo: There is a lot going on with this system (including running Windows 11 on unsupported hardware).

Several of us have asked questions and offered advice to try to resolve your issue.

But you have not replied to tell us if you have tried the suggestions.

And you have not provided the full info we need to help you.

Here are some possible explanations for the disappearing taskbar, based on what we know so far.

Please try to answer these questions “Yes” or “No”:

1---Did you read this article on How to Auto-Hide Your Windows 11 or 10 Taskbar? Yes or No

2---If you did read the article, did it resolve the issue? Yes or No

3—Did your problem begin AFTER installing this MS Windows Update patch (KB5034765)? Yes or No

https://www.neowin.net/news/windows-11-kb5034765-reportedly-breaks-taskbar-causing-it-to-disappear/

4---Do you have the most current video/GPU drivers for your system? Yes or No or I Don’t Know

5---If you (temporarily, fully) UNINSTALL Kaspersky, does that fix the problem? Yes or No

Having said all that, we really need the MiniToolBox report we have requested several times. Here are the instructions again:

  1. Please download and install MiniToolBox from here: https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/minitoolbox/
    2. Place a checkmark in the following boxes:

List Last 10 Event Viewer Errors
    List Installed Programs
    List Problematic Devices
List Users, Partitions and Memory size

    3. Click GO
    4. Please post the text results here by pasting them in your next reply in this thread. We need you to post the RESULTS of running the tool, not a repost of the instructions how to run it.

That is enough for now.

Please, please, please stop posting multiple, duplicate quotes and replies. Doing so makes it very hard to follow the thread. If English is not your native language, can you please try Google Translate or a similar service, so that we can better help you?

Thank you very much

I have edited this topic to remove unnecessary quotations and multiply repeated posts. I think I have managed to do this without losing any content.

Restarting the explorer.exe process is a simple fix to deal with any taskbar issues in Windows. It manages the Windows shell, including the Start menu, taskbar, and the File Explorer application. Thus, you could easily resolve any issues, such as the taskbar not functioning, simply by restarting it.

If you're going to post such non-specific, AI-generated advice, perhaps you would please provide instructions to the Topic Starter how to do what you suggest?

How does one "restart the explorer.exe process"?

A UK Magazine (ComputerActive) has just published an article about how last month's Windows 11 Update has hidden the Task Bar, in certain circumstances, and that one need to delete a certain folder to sort the problem. Also that M$ has not produced a solution yet.

Yes, see my reply #16.

Having said that, the Topic Starter hasn't returned in quite some time.
So, perhaps he has resolved his issue?

Hello:

Thank you for the update.
Unfortunately, it's nearly impossible to find your replies because they are buried in the quoted sections.

I am on my mobile at the moment.
Perhaps someone else can decipher what you've written until I'm back at my PC.

***And we are still waiting for both the Speccy output and the MiniToolBox report.

ALSO

***You have opened ANOTHER topic here at BC even though this one is still working.
New thread:
https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/796252/after-installing-the-ssd-in-my-notebook-then-it-does-not-boot-from-it/?p=5632559

***And you have a duplicate, open working topic elsewhere for THAT same issue;

https://www.elevenforum.com/t/after-installing-a-ssd-on-my-computer-it-does-not-boot-from-the-ssd.24076/

To be honest, I'm not skilled enough or smart enough to decipher all of this effectively.

We'll need to wait for someone better to sort this out.

In the meantime, I respectfully ask one final time that you please stop using the QUOTE feature.
That will be a big step to help us help you.

Thank you very much for your patience and consideration

Marioo posted the Speecy report in Post #14, and for convenience, here it is: http://speccy.piriform.com/results/sddk4SxXqGHblalbBwb3k7l.

He posted a relevant screenshot of the taskbar settings and attached the MiniToolBox report at the bottom of Post #24.
