There's a lot of anti-virus uninstallers in the Anti-Malware Toolkit. I don't see why people should need to scour the web to find these kind of utilities to make their PC run better removing the leftovers.

Virus removal is the process of eliminating malicious software, also known as a virus, from a computer or other electronic device. A virus is a type of malware that can replicate itself and spread to other devices, often causing damage to system files, stealing personal information, or disrupting normal computer functions.
Removing a virus typically involves running antivirus software which scans the device for any malicious programs and removes them. Antivirus software works by comparing the files on the device to a database of known viruses, and looking for any matches. If a match is found, the antivirus software will either delete or quarantine the infected file, preventing it from causing any further harm.
Manual virus removal may also be necessary in some cases, especially if the virus is particularly advanced or has disabled the antivirus software. This involves identifying the infected files and manually deleting them from the system.
It's important to note that prevention is the best defense against viruses. Regularly updating your operating system and antivirus software, avoiding suspicious downloads and email attachments, and practicing safe browsing habits can all help to reduce the risk of a virus infecting your device.
Mod edit :- URL removed, BC does not recommend the use of registry 'cleaners'.
