There's a lot of anti-virus uninstallers in the Anti-Malware Toolkit. I don't see why people should need to scour the web to find these kind of utilities to make their PC run better removing the leftovers.

I was shocked to discover another antivirus provider while reading an old post by Brien Posey about a head-to-head comparison of antivirus software. This article can be found here. Hauri is the name of the company, and it can be found here.
I completely appreciate that the presence of yet another antivirus company is not impossible nor unusual, but Brien's tests utilising their programme yielded very positive findings. With that in mind, I looked into Hauri and discovered a removal programme for a virus that has a reputation for being difficult to eradicate. This is something I can attest to from personal experience. "Virut" is the virus I'm referring to. Virut and I had a "run-in" earlier.
While browsing the Hauri website, I came across their removal utilities and discovered a Virut removal application that appears to be updated on a regular basis. These, as well as a number of other tools, can be found here.
To be clear, I'm not promoting this programme as the "end-all-be-all" of antivirus software, nor am I affiliated with Hauri in any way, shape, or form. I'm just putting this out there to let everyone know that it appears like an antivirus company "may" have figured out how to get rid of the Virut infection.
I'm hoping that this knowledge will be useful to someone, and that it will eventually lead to the removal of Virut from a machine.

Thank you for providing the list. Like antivirus is necessary for PC, antivirus uninstaller is also necessary.
