Whats best software to encrypt folders or entire hard drives ?

Encryption won't stop the theft but it will stop a thief from watching those videos.

Odds are pretty good a stolen hard drive is not going to be recovered so backups are your insurance against loss.

 

As far as full disk encryption goes, here's something to think about:

For that reason, I use Veracrypt containers rather than full disk encryption and only for sensitive data, mostly of a financial concern.

FWIW here some screenshots of BestCrypt Container Encryption.

AFAIK there is no  native  Bitlocker Manager (controling VHD files, i.e. opening/closing an encrypted 'container' with a simple click)
