How to avoid this?

Buy as many phone numbers as the number of family members you have (just for a month or two), then give each family member a different phone number.

Somebody is spamming your phone with text messages or e-mail's?

You've blocked the spammers number right? That will take care of text messages.

You've blocked the spammers e-mail address right? That will take care of e-mail.

If you are still getting random text and e-mail from random numbers and addresses then either:

  • The spammer trageting you has some skills at spoofing
  • Your details are being or have been leaked to proffesional spammers. This can happen from somebody elses contact list.
  • Your e-mail provider does not have good spam filters or you have turned them off at some time.

From time to time we all get fake calls and texts. It's almost impossible to stop it since everything went digital. Silent calls are also a big problem, they originalte from big scam call centers with auto dial equipment.

Yeah exactly, the person is skilled in spoofing. Somehow spammed me from multiple different numbers, never seen any repeating ones so far. How is this spoofing done?

re your using Quote All : Just a small note on the use of 'Quote'.

"It is almost never necessary to quote a complete post in a reply since with very few exceptions posts remain in a topic for as near to forever as possible. By all means use 'Quote' if you wish to pick out one particular aspect of a topic but otherwise just go an inch or two further down the page and use the 'Reply to this topic' box and just start typing. Over use of 'Quote' can make replies very difficult to follow and takes up unnecessary space on the servers."

Hey tinfoilhattler, it's on your mobile phone right? Why don't you try installing TrueCaller or WhosCall?

https://www.truecaller.com/

https://whoscall.com/en

And FYI, there is no reason for the person with these knowledge on spoofing spamming dossing hacking to disturb you for fun unless you have something that they want or you mess with them.
