Thanks for all your help guys, but I think I've reached the limit of my IT knowledge. I'm going to meet up with a friend in a couple of weeks who works in the IT section of a large local company. We're going to put our heads together to see if we can solve this puzzle. If we do, I'll post the solution in case it may be of benefit to anybody else who has this type of issue.

Cheers

After a bit more web surfing, I found out that I have two different accounts attached to Teams. One is my normal Microsoft Account, which has a hotmail address and password. The other account is my 'School or Work Account' (aka Office 365 Account), which has an email account of the form xxxx@xxxx.onmicrosoft.com and a different password. I can't get Teams to sign me in when I select the Office 365 Account. I not sure if this discovery gets me any nearer to solving the sign in problem.

Yup.

I figured as much.

That's why I asked about "personal" vs. "work/school" accounts back at the beginning.

Alas, I can't help you sort it out, as I don't use Teams enough to be facile with it.

MS does NOT make it easy, that's for sure.

So much for "productivity", eh?

Perhaps someone else will have better suggestions.
