We have an older laptop that my teen daughter uses for school. When the kids were much younger, we set up Microsoft Family Safety on the computer. Now, at 11 pm, it locks her out even if she is working on homework. It used to allow her to send a message to me, and I could use the app to unlock it for her. Now, when she tries to send a message asking for more time, it gives her an error. I have turned off all of the time limits, app limits, and Everything I can find, but it still wont work. During the day, it is fine, but at about 11 pm, it is locked until 7 am. I tried chatting with the Microsoft folks and even letting them connect remotely, but after many hours and three different techs no change. Does anyone know how to remove this thing? It has become like a virus and will not go away. Help, please!

Hi, maybe try this : https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/i-want-to-delete-my-family-safety-account/24407418-83f7-488a-bbb4-eba3577a648d

if it was not covered in the other URL.s.

Can also setup a new account.    Can figure that out and how to access other account files.

Will give this and see if anything you have not tried : https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=delete+all+Microsoft+Family+Saftey+settings

Search Term : delete all Microsoft Family Saftey settings

Can also try a search adding Windows 10 or 11 to the search as you do not mention which OS you are running.
