CAT6 is the standard now, you can use CAT7 if you have specific usages (NAS, servers) with highspeed bandwidht needed but if it was the case you should have already know I guess.

 

However, be careful that Ethernet cables have lenght limit which is usually 368ft / 100m.

Anything rated as Cat-5e as the minimum for Ethernet, RG-6 for CATV/MoCa.
